It was Friday, 14th January 2000. when the Football Club Red Star initiated its action I AM A RED STAR SUPPORTER, under the executive production of the RED STAR MARKETING.From that day on, the action I AM A RED STAR SUPPORTER, with its intensity, large number of participants, new ideas, ever growing additional activities, has been turning into the Project I AM A RED STAR SUPPORTER, which has kept to its objective, target group, and first of all its visual identity and advanced method of organization motivation of a new generation of Red Star fans, building the lifestyle of all those who are supporting the Football Club Red Star, along with also the schooling of the future supporters through the appreciation of their club, football players and cherishing sportsmanlike rooting behaviour.

From the organization of the first visits of the first Red Star fans, enrolled into the Project I AM A RED STAR SUPPORTER, towns and schools ensued  as if without end. Red Star fans who wanted to become part of Red Star have no longer originated from the country Austria, Hungary, Republic Srpska, Switzerland, and even to all criteria distant Australia, are the countries where Red Star fans, far from their country, wanted to keep close to and within their own hearts their recognizable red-white colours.

Through the Project I AM A RED STAR SUPPORTER the Football Club Red Star has enrolled new members from 137 towns, 314 schools, starting from Mirka Vasiljevic, a young girl of the school ''King Petar I'' in Belgrade, who was the first enrolled member, a Red Star fan, the 10.000th member, Djordje Matic (grandson of Dr Aca Obradovic) from the school ''Skadarlija'' in Belgrade, the 20.000th member, Milos Šarac of Kula, the 25.000th member, Ivan Isakov, from the school ''Radoje Domanovic'' of New Belgrade, Darko Pesic of Donji Milanovac (30.000th), Milan Radukic of Banja Luka (40.000th), Predrag Abradin of Titel (55.000th), and all the way to Uzicka Pozega (60.000th member) and Bor (65.000th member), we come to Milos Lukic (75.000th) of Koceljeva, Petar Vlajovic of Kosovska Mitrovica, who was the 80.000th member, and the 90.000th member, Milos Stevanic of the Elementary School ''Kirilo Savic'' of Ivanjica, enrolled on 3rd March 2003.

And only a day before the 58th birthday of Red Star, the Project I AM A RED STAR SUPPORTER, paid a visit to the school ''Pavle Savi}'' of Mirijevo, where Nikola Djokic, a 3rd grade pupil, has enrolled as ''primus inter pares'' (first among the equals), whose membership card bears the number worthy of  mention - Nikola will always be able to say with pride: I AM THE 100.000TH RED STAR SUPPORTER!After the one - hundered - thousandth member the Project continues and enters the new season with 112.000 members.
