On Friday Janurary 8th Red Star will introduce Stevan Reljic defender from Rudar Pljevlja. Reljic is the 6th player to sign this winter and he will join the rest of the players on Saturday January 9th when they all report to coach Petrovic as the training camp begins.
“I can’t wait to put Red Star jersey on” said Reljic. “When Adzic called me I couldn’t believe. My dreams became reality. Now I want to prove that I did not come to Marakana just to be another player on the roster.”
Sports director Ivan Adzic said about six new players: “Maybe it looks too much but we would like to have 2 quality players at each position. That is the only way we can play two games per week as the calendar dictates because of the World Cup. Also, some players will have to go and roster will be according to coaches wishes.”
Training camp for spring season starts Januray 9th 2010 at 11:00 AM.
